Herring under a Duvet |

Herring served under leyers of veges and egg.
Nice and tasty herrings dish, wich can be enjjoyed on Christmas, and on Easter too!
- herrings cut into bite size portions (I use matjas)
- boiled vegetables: potato, carots, beetroot - all finely grated but not mixed!
- hard boiled eggs
- finely diced onion
- spring onion for decoration
- mayonnaise
- In a dish arrange in layers: herrings, onion, mayonnaise and veges: beetroot, mayonnaise, carots, mayonnaise, potato, mayonnaise, finished with grated eggs.
- You may finish off with chopped spring onion, arranged around dish.
- It needs a few hours to combine tastes. Keep in refrigerator. Serve with bread.
