Market Research in Poland - 2011 |
|
As usual, OFBOR
published data on last year's (2011)
turnovers of market research companies in Poland.
I also collected data from the previous years: OFBOR's and some more from the web,
and summed everything up in tables and charts below.
This is the fifth time I prepared this summary - you can find the previous ones here:
All data discussed below can also be found here: mr2011.zip (124 kB).
And what does this data show us this year?
SMG/KRC
is still first (as it has been since 1997), but noted a very slight increase of only about 1% (compared to the market's 4%).
ACNielsen noted a very respectable increase of 9% and got much closer to SMG/KRC;
if this year goes similarly to either of the last two years, SMG/KRC may lose its first place after this year!
GfK, with an average growth, now stands alone in the third place.
Pentor and TNS OBOP
continue their dance, exchanging places yet another time (though it doesn't really matter
as they're actually a single company now - see here).
Actually, if their turnovers were summed up, TNS would take GfK's place in third place...
Further companies in the top 10:
- IPSOS remained in 6th place,
still keeping in touch with the previous two companies; unfortunately, after some growth last year, they noted a decline yet again (by 8%).
- Synovate is not on the list anymore (joined with IPSOS).
- PBS,
thanks to 24% of growth, defended its place from AGB (well, it moved up by one place, but that's because of Synovate).
- So, AGB, even with a 23% growth, remained in its place.
- IQS,
with average growth, also remained in its place.
- And Cegedim made it into the top 10!
The only other company with a turnover of over 10 million zloty was 4P research mix.
